The Haworth Inn
Located one block from our training facilities and Downtown Holland. Reservations can be made by contacting them at 800-903-9142 (www.haworthinn.com). When making reservations identify yourself with the Midwest Barista School at JP's to the front desk staff. The rate is $89.00 per night (except Tulip Time) and includes Continental breakfast, newspapers, wireless access, a wellness room on-site, use of the Dow Center (full fitness center at the college) and the Holland Aquatic Center.

City Flats Hotel
A new hotel right out our back door just opened. The new City Flats Hotel is a trendy, upscale boutique hotel that is a LEED Silver Candidate. It has such unique features as LED lighting, hypoallergenic bamboo linens, cork floors, HDTV in all rooms, VOIP phone system with touch screen phones, soaking tubs, walk in showers and 56 distinct and different rooms. They even give you prefered parking if you pull up in a hybrid vehicle.

They are offering MBS students a corporate rate of $129 per night (except Tulip Time). Just mention that you are an MBS student when making reservations. You can contact them by calling 1-866-609-2489 (www.cityflatshotel.com).

Airports

The closest airports are Grand Rapids, MI (GRR) or Muskegon, MI (MKG) each 30 miles away, or Lansing, MI (LAN) at 80 miles.

Transportation

Amtrak Train:

Holland, MI has a beautiful and highly used train station only two blocks from JP's and the Midwest Barista School. The train route goes from Chicago to Holland and is about a 3 hour train ride. If you stay at the Haworth Inn or City Flats Hotel you won't even need to rent a car. More information can be found at Amtrak's website (www.amtrak.com).

Rental car reservations:

Should be made prior to arrival at the airport. The rental car desks may have limited hours at the airport.

Shuttle:

Coleman's Airport Shuttle Service is also available to bring you from Gerald R. Ford Airport (GRR) to Holland. The fee is $65.00 one way or $125.00 round trip (gratuity not included). Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-247-7485 or 1-616-355-2006. Also the Haworth Inn and City Flats Hotel have access to shuttle services.
