Jack Groot opened JP's Coffee and Espresso Bar in Holland, MI in 1993. It was the first real coffeehouse in the area and one of the first in West Michigan. Jack realized he needed many things to be successful, but most of all great people. He had spent much time before opening JP's researching the history of coffee, how to operate a coffee shop, and business plan strategies he now uses everyday - but without a group of like minded people, he would not have succeeded. Since that time he has put together just such a team.
